Splish Splash Doggie Bash

Hey Atlanta pups, hope everyone's headed to Piedmont Park on Saturday! I'm not going because I don't like to swim, as I'm a wader and a splasher. In other words, I freak out when my paws cannot touch! Here's all the details, taken straight from the park's website.

Piedmont Park Conservancy invites Atlanta’s four legged citizens to an end of season pool party – our 1st Annual Splish Splash Doggie Bash. Let your pooches cool off in the newly renovated pool at Piedmont Park on September 19, 2009 from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

We will have live music, dog-related vendors, goody bags, raffle prizes and more! Proceeds from this event will benefit the off-leash area and general maintenance of the Park as it relates to visitors with pets.

Sit Means Sit Dog Training will be on hand to talk about the safety of your dog around water. They will be doing live demonstrations that will show you how to keep your dog safe in and around the water, but still have fun.
